Comparison of robot-assisted, laparoscopic, and (traditional) open radical prostatectomy outcomes. Pretty irrelevant because robotic surgery seems to be preferred in most countries.
I doubt you can say that. My RP was done laparoscopically, but not via Da Vinci, nor by any other robot. I live in and was treated in the wilds of New York City. It would be interesting to see what the statistics actually are.
From what I can see and what I've heard, the robot is a tool. A good surgeon will on average do better than a poor surgeon, regardless of tool.
My brother had an open radical about 10 years before I did--with similar results.
