Age 54. 4+3 but low volume. Limited to right apex region only. Considering SBRT, LDR or HDR as monotherapy or brachy boost with External Beam. Low risk Decipher. Thoughts?

All good choices if you have experienced specialists who do those treatments. Brachy boost has a high risk of late-term urinary side effects, but excellent cure rates.

Hi there. I was also 4+3 (localized)…was treated with 15 sessions of EBRT and 1 session of HDR boost along with 4-month regimen of ADT (Lupron). Therapy was in Jan-Feb 2021, first PSA follow-up in May was .32 (down from 17 prior to treatment). Radiation side effects were minimal; Lupron is a different story. ADT technically ended on May 5… looking forward to increases in T. By the way, I'm 69. The best to you!

Wilmot Cancer Institute, Highland Hospital (University of Rochester system) Rochester, NY. Radiation oncologist is Dr. Hong Zhang (terrific with a great team); HDR boost done by my urologist/surgeon Dr. David Gentile

Thanks! You may want to edit out your phone number - there are robots that search for that sort of thing. I'll reply by PM.
