Haven't heard anyone mention a problem I have run into. I had external radiation and ADT. The external radiation ended on June 1, and the last ADT shot (a four-month dose) was in June. My wife and I have been able to have satisfying sex, although not like it used to be. Here's the problem: about 12 hours or so after orgasm, an ache develops around the area of my prostate. At first it is bad enough so that sleeping is difficult. Then it trails off in a day or two.
It's bad enough that I very reluctant to have sex.
Would appreciate any insights and advice.

I know someone who had that (dysorgasmia), although he hadn't had radiation or ADT and the pain came on sooner after orgasm. Fortunately it disappeared on its own. It is more often associated with RP due to damage to the pudendal nerve. I hope yours disappears soon.
Presumably the problem you are describing is due to damage inside the prostate or nearby nerves caused by the radiation. My guess is that it will heal over time, as other radiation injuries generally do.
I suggest that you try some simple non-prescription treatments - ice or heat or one after the other - whatever works for you, or ibuprofen or acetaminophen. You might also call the radiation oncologist. The doctor or one of his nurses or radiation technicians has probably seen this before and may have ideas. For me, I think I'd rather try the non-prescription treatments before trying anything more serious like prescription pain killers.
I had low dose radiation seeding approximately 6 months ago. And for five months after that I had pain with orgasm. I also had a terrible time urinating and emptying my bladder because my prostate was so swollen that urine could barely get by the prostate. When I ejaculated all the fluid would go up into my bladder instead of coming out which in itself is not harmful but it creates a lot of pressure in the prostate area and that's what I attributed the pain to. I finally had a Urolift done and things are better and the pain has gone from very noticeable to only noticeable occasionally. I don't know if this applies to you but thought I would let you know you're not the only one having this.
