Update on the journey

Hi fellow travellers,

I am seven treatments into my salvage RT, no significant side effects so far. I had a surprise on the first day when they changed my treatment from 32 weeks to 20 with no real explanation. I queried the change as my RO had advised the longer period because of my IBS. After some chasing up it seems that all is fine and sticking with the 20 weeks (as TA had advised in a reply to my earlier post).

The same can’t be said for the hormone treatment, hot flushes, aching arthritic joints and interrupted sleep! Very much looking forward to the 30th September when it is all over, for now...

I was wondering if you had started. Glad to hear all is ok so far. Husband got tired towards the end and still has fatigue.
