My question is considering I am in the middle of chemo should I push for SBRT blast of Mets, or do I let chemo do its job despite a PSA bounce back. Scans were done a couple months ago so who knows where the new Mets may be or perhaps not.

No rush on radiation of metastases. There is no known benefit to doing that and the chemo may interfere with healthy tissue recovery from the radiation.

Ok thankyou. Later if the chemo doesnt work that may be a option correct?

I Pray that it works🙏Believe that you will survive this and live ..

Hey costa! I think you’re doing what is called for .. Dont predict Metz. This chemo can work and push pc away . I pray that it does for you . The anxiety of APC is always amazing for us all.. Stay strong and hydrated . Get thru chemo and recover well brother. You will be ready for some pura vida after a fine recovery . Be well

I am not sure why the attitudes of my cancer team has changed in the last 6mos from oncologist to the rad oncologist to the n.p onc. I am not sure if its because the dont see a high volume of different type case, or am I in dire straights as they convey to me. With a limited amount of option left according to her, I hear others on the forum speak about their A.P.C , and some not as bad, and some not as good but all seem to be rolling along with hope in most cases. My doc seems distressed and kinda panicked which obviously translates back to me. I am a very active upbeat guy with lots of friends and lots of reasons to squeeze out every ounce of life out of this, I need a doc as hopeful as I am. Thanks for responding.

Whoa ! You are very positive. All of my docs were initially giving me very negative prospects. A positive Doctor sure helps. Many are jaded . Most newly dxed are in constant fear until you can get a hold on the pc and slow it’s stroll. My pc almost killed me right off of the bat . They gave 50/50 change to survive the first treatments. Let’s face it. This is a brutal man eating disease . We know that the attitude or the bad comments from our doctors affect us more than they know. Hang in there !💪
