Our community is great. Many from our Prostate Cancer community are creating action, hope and gratitude by responding to Malecare's call for support. Our Advanced Prostate Cancer community has been astoundingly responsive. There's still time to donate at malecare.org/donate There are lots of great charities competing for your donations today, and several not so great that receive tens of millions of dollars of support from pharma, and often cave to pharma demands. Malecare does not receive millions or even tens of thousands of dollars from pharma. Our budget is (I believe) the smallest of all medium sized prostate cancer nonprofits but our volunteers are massive in their donations of labor and discounts and pro bono support. We don't spend your donations to raise millions from pharma and gala dinners. Outside of a few minutes writing emails and posts like this one, I don't spend any time in fundraising. Unlike my counterparts, almost 100% of my work time is spent in programing, research, and direct patient support. For 17 of our 21 years, everyone at Malecare was a volunteer. Our interns and volunteers spend 100% of their time doing things that help people like you and me. In short, I believe Malecare is the most efficient, forthright and effective use of your prostate cancer donation. I hope that you agree and will join your brothers (and sisters) in our community with a donation to Malecare, today. Please go to malecare.org/donate
