progress with fenbendazole?

backstory - 11 years with PCa, no mets, 4 HIFUs (!), always figured I still had it but more or less under control - PSA after the last HIFU in 2015 had been less than 1 ever since, usually 0.6 - 0.8 (keep in mind there's only half a prostate left to make PSA) - Nov. 2018 it was 0.9 - hmmm...April 2019 1.8 - yikes! May 2019 2.27- OMG! the world is ending!

So I read Joe Tippens's story about fenbendazol and figured I had nothing to lose, so I took a two-week course but a 4-gram dose instead of 1 gram) - in June PSA was 1.824 - the usual up-and-down? I don't know - but I took a month-long course of Panacur just to see what happened, hope against hope...and I just got the August number: 1.505. Don't know quite what to make of this - I was anticipating a biopsy, and probably should still get one because it's almost certain PCa is still going. But I think I'll keep taking the fenbendazole...didn't make me sick, maybe it's helping...

I've just had an aha! moment - the reason fenbendazole works is because we don't have prostate cancer, we have prostate worms! Yeah, that's it! Worms! Who knew? (I should probably nominate myself for a Nobel...)

My husband has been taking Fenbendozole for 14 weeks and his PSA has declined from 10.5 to 7.3. with no traditional treatment. He is doing a strict diet and other off label drugs and supplements. I do believe the fenbedozole works. We will know on Sept 09 when he has a 3TMRI. Best wishes. Lorrie

this is very hopeful to read - is he doing the standard 3 consecutive days on, 4 days off weekly regimen - and what dose is he taking? Best wishes indeed, to all of us.

He did 7 days straight at first but now he’s doing the 3 one 4 off, just like Joe did. I will post after his MRI. I hope it works for all cancer patients. That would be a game changer!

What strength of Fenben does your husband take? And how often?

Thanks

Larry

I'm taking this too, but I think not enough to make a difference - just 2 capsules in the morning before breakfast. I have a hard time with the take-on-an-empty-stomach routine because except for first thing in the morning my stomach is never really empty - I kind of graze all day. Then I've always had a problem remembering to take doses of anything throughout the day - too often I'm not home or I'm outside doing stuff (and munching on whatever) and hours go by. And I have a problem with taking lots of capsules - a swallowing issue (different health problem). I'm thinking I should get the powder and just take the daily dose all at once, if it doesn't make me sick. I tend to have a cast-iron stomach (except for chiles).
