Radiotherapy. (Pasted from Active Surveillance site.)

I moved this from AS site as I'm not doing that! I had 20 days of treatment. The radiation finished a few weeks ago and the side effects of painful urination and ejaculation ok now. I took Ural sachets but for some reason was prescribed over 100! Bowel movements are always unpleasant and 4/5 times a morning sometimes, but that is probably because not much bowel is left after bc surgery 5 and a bit years ago. I'm seeing the specialist on Monday, so any general advice about questions would be great! I'm making my own list this weekend. Best wishes to all. John.

Hmmm. That’s not what I want to hear since I start my 20 treatments this week. Did you get treated on an advanced machine? Gold markers used? Did you get Space OAR gel? My treatment center has a Versa HD machine.
