I'm 72 and have had an interesting 5 years. Emergency bowel cancer surgery, mesh repaired incisional hernia, cellulitus and gall bladder out by open surgery. Infections in the wounds from the first two. Now as the 5 year mark for the cancer is near, I have been told that there is prostate cancer and I'm waiting to find out about possible treatment, if any. All very depressing actually. But I'm looking forward to see what this site is all about. Thanks.

I hope that is the end of your "interesting" 5 years. Let us know about the biopsy results, and we can take it from there. Unlike bowel cancer, you may have many more options. The treatment you opt for (or none) is your decision.

It's an excellent site to find out things. I thought I was a competent googler, but Malecare (site)is 20 x better. Like tall allen says, unlike bowel cancer, there are many options for treatment. Glad to meet you.
