Hi all.. I'm currently going through ivf and found out im pregnant. On the 11th October 2020 I had to have a blood test beta (hcg) my results were 24.9 I was told im on early stages of my pregnancy and had to repeat my bloods every 2days and numbers should double up. Its now 22nd October 2020 and my hcg levels are still on 166.8 so rising really slowly. Me and my doctor as abit confused as in whats going on. I may be having an ectopic pregnancy. I've had a internal scan to see what happening. But was to early to see anything. Im due to have another scan by the end of the week. My question is had anyone experienced the same thing. Am I having an ectopic pregnancy or is this normal?
Please help.
Many thanks

Hi love. I can’t give much advice on this but if you put this question on the Fertility Network I think you will get a lot more responses as that for ivf/fertility issues and I have read similar posts on there to yours. Wishing you all the luck xxx
Hi it’s normal not to be able to see anything when it’s very early on. Until your next scan when things are hopefully visible, they can’t locate the pregnancy and it’s a waiting game. But in the meantime if you have any bleeding or severe pain go back to the hospital. Best of luck, hoping for good news for you at your next scan.
