Mucus plug or not

Hi all, it's my first time posting and I apologise in advance for the photos I will post.

I'm currently pregnant with baby number 4, I'm 35+3 weeks, I have polyhydramnios, gestational diabetes, SPD, I also suffer Hemiplegic migraines, I'm a high risk pregnancy. Last night I began bleeding so I went to the labour triage to be checked over, the doctor examined me and told me she doesn't know where the blood is from but could be either my cervix or uterus. Baby was checked and is okay, so I was sent home. Just been to the toilet and lost what I think is my mucus plug. I don't remember losing it in my previous pregnancies, my elder kids are 20 and 18 so was a long time ago and my young one is almost 7, he was a planned emergency c-section after failed induction at 38 weeks. I have really bad lower back ache and painful Braxton hicks since last night. Could it be early labour symptoms?

I would call the triage again to be on the safe side xx

I had my baby in July, my mucus plug looked VERY similar and your description could easily fit how I’d describe my early labour. I’d definitely get yourself checked again, just to be on the safe side. The MAU won’t mind how many times you go back. Good luck xx
