I live in a small town - and the Town Community Chrismas organisation normally lays on Christmas lunch I the Hall for a hundred or two who would be alone at Christmas.This year they delivered it.
I think the local farmers and retailers donated most of it, but it included:
Almost more "turkey and trimmings" than you could get on a plate.
Christmas pudding
Mince pie
3 types of cheese and biscuits
Two Christmas Cakes
A small bottle of Whiskey (from the local distillery)
A Cross biro
6 jars of marmalades and jams
A book.
My sister gave me half a smoked salmon, and, as I live alone, I had to eat it all by myself!
