Quite a 'Find'.....

Dear Friends,

I spent Christmas Day, with my Mother. There is a retired Chef living downstairs, in her flats, and Pete 'did' a, really beautiful, Christmas Dinner. Turkey, Gammon, Roast Potatoes, Stuffing Balls, Carrots, Brussel Sprouts and a Lovely- homemade- Gravy. All followed by Christmas Pudding, and Custard. Pete even gave me Enough for a Second Meal.... All for, I think, Twenty-Five pounds per head. (I paid for Both our meals).

On a Side Table, and clearly marked 'Free Of Charge' were a few items. A Belt, of sorts, a packet of 'soup' I think and a Delightful Book, on Handmade Cards. Originally published in 2004 and having cost £16:99, when new, it was being literally Given Away! I shall add this, fully illustrated book to my Art Bag.

What a 'thing' to be, effectively Gifted, on Christmas Day😀.

I'm so pleased you had such a nice day. Enjoy the book!

I'm really happy that you and your Mum had a great day. And the book for free was the icing on the cake!!
