I gifted my daughter with Anne Lamott's Book: "Operating Instructions: A Journal of My Son's First Year" when it became apparent that our first grandbaby would be reared mostly by her because the "hubby dad dud" preferred the party scene vs the family scene.
Happy to report our young man, his little brother and my daughter are in a loving home headed by a wonderful guy we admire, respect and love.
