Blueberry muffin but if I wasn't watching my saturated fat I'd pic vanilla custard slice even though I detest icing I actually like the combination of the savoury pastry with it and as I love vanilla the custard all brings into place or should I say a splodge of a mess all over my face as there impossible to eat tidily lol as are the best things 😋

Oh my !!! This is dangerous talk. I really love custard slices and well all of them but have coeliac disease 😢

My homemade brownies, I can't stop making them. They are made using sweet potatoes, cacao powder, peanut butter, maple syrup, oat flour and baking powder and sprinkled on the top are pecans and dark chocolate chips.

Who said being a Vegan was boring LOL.

so are they gluten free too?

They certainly are, I use GF oats. Here's the recipe if you are interested:

minimalistbaker.com/fudgy-s...

I cook the sweet potatoes in the microwave for speed. In addition to what the recipe says I use Oat Milk in the mixture (90ml or more) to make it more fudgy otherwise it can be quite dry. Cacao powder is much better than cocoa and if you are in the UK Grape Tree is the best place to get it, it's the cheapest as well.

I buy the maple syrup in Aldi as it's about £2 cheaper than the bigger supermarkets. I use Morrisons own GF oats as they are reasonably priced as well.

I am constantly making these.

Hope you get to make them, you won't regret it I promise. 🌈😋😋

My Stepdaughter bakes and sells her cakes...... she showed us a video on her mobile phone..... it appeared to me to be a cupcake in s cup(or bowl) looking down on the cake..... as she pours hot milk(or custard) on it, the cake appears to break open leaving small marshmellow sweets showing through.... I could be wrong, but thats how it appeared to me?

think they call them mug cakes or something you just pour cake mix in the mug and microwave it quickly, lots of kids do them

Oh yum!! I worked next door to a post office in the 60s that had jam and cream doughnuts delivered, freshly made every day. I used to buy one to have with my mid morning cup of tea. I miss them I don't see such good quality any more.

sounds wonderful. years ago i lived near a doughnut shop, it made nothing but all different flavours of doughnuts, all with cream, but otherwise all different flavours
