It's my birthday today, quite strange as it's the first one without either of my parents
I've had a few cards, I never get many as I have a small family, some money from a friend, my sister has given me an alarm clock, t shirt and a food parcel
Next week it's her birthday and I was quite emotional a couple of days ago writing her card just from me, previously it was me and mum, but next week we're going for a pub lunch

Happy birthday I recently lost my father one month before my birthday so I kind of know how you feel although I did spend it with my mam who is 81 everyday is precious with her as loosing my dad has given me a big fear of loosing my mam, she also has coronary heart disease, do you have any pets they are such a comfort and bring so much joy take care x

Just had my 84th Jennymary. and can understand how you felt.I faced it with mixed feelings with family far away.One in Chile and another the other side of the country.But we did it and it wasn’t so awful was it.Thousands of us faced all manner of anniversaries alone this year but we did it and look forward to the next one which should be better.Pat yourself on the back for having survived the challenge .Onwards and upwards.Many Happy returns.Love from Me.
