I am already finding it difficult and have done all the way through. I work in the NHS so have been working but have had to take sick leave twice during the pandemic due to Anxiety. The thought of going into shop’s or shopping centres just brings on panic attacks. I will avoid going to the point of having nothing left in my house to eat. Any advice welcome.
You can have home delivery of. groceries from all the supermarkets
Before I think about this, may I ask how it happened that this lady is doing this for us? Did she write to the admins/moderators and offer? Is she a member of HU, perhaps? I have no idea.
I would also be interested to know about her qualifications. May I ask what they are?
There's no way I would take part in something like this without being satisfied that her qualifications are genuine and ascertaining as far as possible how altruistic her motives are for doing this.
Please don't receive this post as negative. I'm sure we all agree that anyone can call themselves a therapist and (with respect to the OP, who isn't someone I've come across before here) the introductory post doesn't give me the information I would want from someone before I entered into any kind of consultation with them, even one that takes place virtually and online. It's absolutely not intended to attack this lady, or the OP, and I'm sure the information I ask for will be made freely available by any bona fide therapist without her taking offence at a civil request for it.
Thank you for your reply. The HealthUnlocked team reached out to Anjali asking her if she would do this for the community. You can read more about her and her qualifications via her website: anjalismitter.com.
I found Shielding difficult at first, ,but now I find it ok, at least I am safe. The Government is saying there will be another lockdown sometime this month is it true?
