Today's walk

Hi all

I've have a walk today and not a jog as an old injury has reappeared so I think jogging will have to go and for me to go back to power walking and cycling. I damaged my knee down to my leg and foot back in 2017 and the injury has reappeared but mainly in the foot so it's now painful to walk on it. Serves me right, I shouldn't have been so enthusiastic jogging on Sunday;) I'll be looking online shortly for some physio exercises as I remember some that the physio gave me in 2017 but not all.

Anyway, it was a lovely walk all the same apart from a bit of limping. I'll be on the bike tomorrow, much safer. ;)

I hope you like the photos. I walked 14.6 miles in total (it was a little more as I had a hospital appointment this morning and walked to the hospital from our local park and ride).

This is the first set of photos, more to follow in a separate post.

Oh that’s such a shame as you had built up your stamina. Maybe it will heal quickly. Love the photos they are fab! Take care, good luck for a speedy recovery x

I know, I'm annoyed with myself as I could have avoided it by not jogging. It's quite painful at present but it'll not take long with physio to heal. Thank you and it's been beautiful today xx

Hope you're not in too much pain, lovely photos as always. I've often thought jogging is hazardous but mainly as I've always been hopeless at running! Skinny all my life but just very little aerobic capacity somehow. I should probably persevere and get as fit as I can.

It's a bit painful but better now I'm not walking on it, a bit of physio and I'll be fine soon. I'll stick to power walking and cycling, no more jogging for me for sure.

I had a lovely 6 mile walk earlier today to the park and back.

That's such a pity for you Alicia. Our bodies always have the last say! I'm glad you were still able to go for a walk anyway, and the pictures are, as usual stunning. I wish I could come up with some alternatives to 'stunning', but honestly they really are a tonic and today's are just spectacular. Hope your knee feels better soon! 🌈🦄🦋

I love the photos crazy, I think you have more time to take in the beauty around you when walking. Cycling is great too. In fact, being as active as you is good for the body and the soul.

You can almost feel the sun beating down in the pictures. Hope you are not in to much pain and you find the exercises to help. xx

It was beautiful. I have been moving my foot as much as possible by stretching it.

It was warmer today.
