Hi . Lulu here. Self isolated , alone in house with 3 cats, for 28 days so far. When the sun is out it is ok but grim Otherwise ! Can do physical things, cleaning , de cluttering , sorting , gardening not running out of things to do. I am a painter but , can find no motivation to paint at the moment.
I belong to 2 WhatsApp groups but
I can’t believe the rubbish that people are writing now, totally burying their heads in the sand so, I am Not going to write on those for a few days.
All my kids are in the caring business, medical and live away from here, Cambridge, I do fear for them obviously.
I send best wishes to all AF ( that pales into insignificance now) friends nearby!!

I would suggest ringing a local church even if you are not a believer, it doesn't matter. Most churches will have a group of people who will call you for a chat and offer support in other ways. You sound very down just now and if you are a person who is not happy with their own company it must be very difficult for you. Please consider calling them. It is a start. I wish you all the best and hope you find some comfort soon. X
I am usually happy with my own company but ,no matter how delightful I am , there are times now when most people feel a bit alarmed! Today has started not so well but, it will get better.
Hi Luludean,
I feel for you and I know what you mean about sunshine being a lifeline. And I also agree that somehow, finding motivation for hobbies is, for some reason, quite difficult.
And I'm so tired of all the bad communication that's out there on some groups. Dangerous misinformation, inappropriate topics, fake cures and bad jokes. The list's almost endless.
If it's of any consolation to you we are trying hard here to keep things as upbeat as we can, and hunting down anything that's pure nonsense, so maybe you could try hanging out here instead of with your usual groups.
It is hard not to worry about our loved ones on the front line. My own daughter has potentially contracted the virus, (luckily it seems mildly), as a result of her own frontline duties in the Met police force.
I'm also a victim of an undiagnosed idiopathic heart arrhythmia, but happily it doesn't affect most of my life, and it's the last thing I'd be thinking much about, right now.
But as you have a diagnosed AF, you mustn't think of it as being insignificant, so please take good care of yourself and I hope you can manage to mostly stay cheerful. We're all in a pretty horrible situation: the hostages of a nasty, ruthless virus and if we can all support each other positively, it will make us stronger to stand together against it.
