But you might have problems getting enough suitable food? I know you make your own bread but.... I am fine with being at home a lot am used to it, not used to my partner being here 24 7 and that takes some getting used to - not always a good thing to be together so much. You maybe get things more in perspective. People who were forever moaning or worrying about silly little things might stop that now. I tend to only worry / think about things I CAN have control over and change and leave the rest to fate. But am not so quick to hand it over to fate as many are.

One of my problems is weight loss and fitness. It's harder not to eat when you've got to stay home all day. There are times I'd like to go for a drive or walk, but I can't because I'm not going shopping or I've already been out for the day.

I'm chewing a lot of gum to stop overeating. I've kept up my daily exercise using youtube videos and workout dvds. I won't let the isolation set my weight loss goal back.

Do you do Zumba?

I haven't tried it regularly. I've only ever done one Zumba workout. Maybe I'll try more. Could you PM suggestions if you have any? I don't know if we can name names here. Thanks!

Know what you mean. I am at home and often in the kitchen and near food, its very tempting, especially if worried or bored.

Nothing has really changed here, had my last appointment with my pulmonologist in early February so not due again until June, have a script that will see me through until then and the chemist has offered to post to me if necessary. The only worry for me is that I HAVE to go to the supermarket now and again but again the beauty of being in a very small community is that I was well known before all this and the staff bend over backwards to keep me as safe a possible.

Not so well. It is really really hard. I know I have it lucky compare to others: no money issues, food deliveries, Laundry(not sure yet),but... having MS old, alone etc...not so good.

Sounds quite technical and exciting stuff. Getting jealous now.

in reply to wiserlady

there is no reason to be jealous. I had such a hard time(close to tears and giving up) fixing my pictures storage in creative clouds! yes I love my pictures endeavors. As well as my NY times. Now, nothing is working: my document scan my desktop to my canon printer, the video -audio program Zoom . Basically I,m having problems with anything related to technology. OMG ,stuck in being a senior!

at least your chatty here, not just one or two words - and positive - and trying your best. not many older people even try with technology.

in reply to wiserlady

technology is the enemy. Wish me good luck. I have o choice but deal with it. enough about me. How about you? Same questions you've ask me.

I think computer programs are great to use at different times when you want to do video chat with your friends and/or family. It’s great when taking classes online, too.😀👍

I have Crohn's, very happy today as found a company who could deliver all my incontinence needs for the 12 week isolation, with the gloves. So feeling very upbeat!! The little things have become what I focus on. Have been housebound since Sept 2017, so well used to the life style.

Yes if you think about all of the little things you forget the big things.

Not too well for me. Recent diagnosis of Stage 3 kidney disease, diabetes, COPD put me at high risk. Already had all but 3 symptoms. Mandatory quarantine 14 day's. Rest, rest, rest, fluids, meds seem 2 b helping. Fever, body aches, headache, etc come and go but better. Try to take my thoughts to other pleasant time's.
