Hopefully this one is a bit more difficult than yesterday..

What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters?

Oh crikey sadietabor, I managed the first OK, but am now stumped. Maybe you should throw in the odd easier one to give us all hope! Haha.
