I'm Jenny, 57 yrs old (sometimes young), live in the West Country of the UK, few health issues going on, but working part time, I'm not self isolating but I'm not going out anymore than I need to, work and local shops, did an online shop a couple of weeks ago, next week I've got some Wiltshire farm foods meals coming to go in the freezer, I don't drive as I'm registered blind, but there is a taxi firm close to me that if someone does a click and collect shop they'll go and collect it for you, after trying unsuccessfully to get a slot with tesco and sainsbury, this morning I tried asda, yippee, I've got a slot in just over 2 weeks time, the order has been placed but I haven't yet had the confirmation email, I'm getting mainly dry stuff that will sit in the cupboard until needed, now waiting to see if we're going into lock down at work, I'm on annual leave the weekend after next, probably be in with the DVD I got yesterday not seeing my sister one day and goddaughter the next, and not visiting my 88 Yr old mum who is in a care home with dementia amongst other ailments

Welcome!!
You sound as if you have a very positive attitude about a not so positive event. Please continue to learn about your resources and keep yourself safe. I don’t like not being able to see certain family members also. My uncle has cancer and is in the midst of chemo. I wanted to go over to visit him because he lives alone and I hoped to keep him company but it wouldn’t be healthy for him as the chemo takes away so much of his immunity. I am lucky to live in a triple decker which is owned by my parents. They live on the 3rd Floor, my brother in the 2nd and me on the 1st. Even then, I don’t want to spread anything to my parents who are about 70 years old so I try to maintain a distance.
Please continue to stay safe and I look forward to getting to know you!!
Hi Jennymary, We've sort of met already in the Care Community, but it's great to learn a little more about you. Glad you've joined this forum too.
