Hi everyone, I am Elspeth and I have suffered from depression and suicidal feelings but then I found this little gem of a place in Drumchapel called Cope. They promote and teach self management of life. I started as a client like I say and now I am an associate and work in the community for them.
Now I have given a little back ground on me I will move on to why I stopped to look at this page. We have a kindness campaign going on in Cope and the surrounding area. The Joseph roundtree foundation have done loads of research on how being kind and having kind things done for you makes you happy.
just a wee thought, lets all be kinder to each other and everyone will feel a lot better.
This does not replace medication or play down depression in any way but I just thought I would put it out there. thanks x

Wow Elspeth what a brilliant idea, I agree that if we could all be kinder to each other, the world would be a better place. And it does make you feel better in yourself. That is, of course, if you aren't suffering badly from Depression or suchlike. But sometimes, in these cases, if somebody shows you kindness it can really help and shows you that not all people are bad or against you and there is kindness out there. Even just a smile can be so good if you are having a bad day. Xx
