Hi everyone, I took advice from my lovely fellow sufferers.....Upped my pred from 8mg to 10mg..
Currently in Spain on hols....its pouring down but I'm happy ..
First time in weeks I don't have a headache.
Determined to enjoy my week away in the sun (not).

Thank you ....just bothered now about the tapering when I'm home... Still have discomfort in my arm and hip strangely only on right side...but I can deal with that....

Says to me that 8mg is too low! So the tapering should maybe slower rather than the drop back to 10mg that will be OK after only 2 weeks.
Sorry about the Med weather this year - it is being utterly horrible!! Been cloudy for weeks here in northern Italy and that just doesn't happen ...
Just my luck this year....next week going to be wall to wall sunshine...It's too wet to venture out of the hotel....rivers running down the street.....

As an add on...I'm thinking of dropping by just half a tablet instead of 1....
Yes drop by 0.5mg in future - but not whilst you still have some discomfort...
Hello, Tescohednesford! I, too, am on holiday on Isle of Wight - first vac for a long time. Weather wintery here, much rain and wind, but so pleased to be having this break. Sticking with my 20mg pred as before, putting aches and pains down to change of bed. We shall see. Have a lovely time!

Pleased to hear you made it 🙂. Take it easy and don’t feel you’ll spoil things for your companions if you don’t join in with absolutely everything. The weather must be disappointing but even the change of routine and different view from the window can be uplifting.
(I have family who are long - time residents in Spain who say that current heavy rainfall is more than welcome. The threat of water rationing has been very real and the rain needs to continue so that threat can be lifted ☹️.)
Same here - not a lot of rain this far east but this dull depressing cloud and far too cool for the time of year. All the threat of forest fires is long gone and water supplies are OK, But it has been extremes - average it out and it looks OK but it wasn't ...
Exactly. Averages don’t explain the true picture and extremes that are worrying. I hope the skies brighten for you soon.
