Even though I completed prednisone for PMR in June 2022 & my blood work has been good. I am still on an anti inflammatory diet (basically a gluten & dairy free mediterranean diet). I find that I tire more easily & for longer periods. Sometimes I feel a stiffness as if a flare up is returning but it passes. CAN ANYONE ELSE RELATE TO THIS?

Did you feel like that when you were on steroids or have things changed since you stopped? It may be worth checking your diet to ensure that it is well balanced. Are you lactic intolerant and coeliac to have cut out dairy and gluten?
Hi,
I think two things:
Firstly, we have to remember that we are a bit older than when the pmr started - in my case nearly eight years older, so we quite possibly need more rest.
Secondly, having experienced the pmr pain and symptoms for a number of years, I believe we are much more sensitive to what’s going on in the body than in pre pmr times; I know I am. But, after over a year on zero, most stiffness pains have amounted to nothing.
Good luck
Paddy
