Is there anyone else in the St. Albans area suffering with this awful sore, raw, groin pain that I have lived with for over 20 years?

I would be happy to set up a support group for others in the Stj. Albans, Hemel, Hatfield area. It is such an isolating condition that isn't understood, and one feels such a freak! Sheilam

Have you looked to see if there are others in your area ? there was someone who was interested in that part of the country who helped with a group in Northampton but I don't think it's still going.

Maybe there'll be some others in the area who will be willing to help

Good luck,

Judy

Thanks very much for replying. However, Northampton is a bit distant from St. Albans, in Hertfordshire. Perhaps people don't want a support group, but if there were any they need to be reasonably near for easy contact. Best wishes, Sheilam

Hi Sheilam

I live in the Hatfield area, look at my background, and contact me again with the sort of problems you are experiencing.

Thank you Jacquieb.I.m sorry I don't know how to 'look into your background'! My incompetence with the internet I'm afraid. Perhaps you can look at my backgroun. I wasn't looking for problems; I just wondered whether if there were about half a dozen people in a reasonably compact area, they might like to meet up now and again to have company and understanding with folk with similar pain problems.

The problem of constant pain and the isoltion one feels at having a condition that's difficult to describe and difficult to understand and difficult to live with! A few people with similar circumstances might like to get in touch or meet occasionally to have coffee and a chaat and 'buck each other up'. Sheilam

Hi

Do you live or work in St Albans?

I am interested to know what your symptoms are,do you suffer from pudendal neuralgia or other pelvic problems> Cant find you in the Directory. You can see me listed there too.

I think we are the only two in the same area at the moment but its a start.

I hate this condition, sometimes it frightens me as my symptoms are getting worse not better.
