Mri results back

I have had 2 years of crohnic pelvic pain.

So, mri results are back and they are saying now it's not Adeno but multiple fibroid uterus. I have 4 fibroids, largest is 6cm. The other 2 are about 4cm, pressing on the bowel. Hence the bowel issues. My uterus is 10 x 8 cm and it should be 5 x 4 cm. As I am in so much pain, my gp has expedited my follow up. I have asked not to see the male gynae. He didn't even offer treatment/follow up with the results and is always gaslighting me and I always cry after my appts with him. My concern is they didn't show up on the laparoscopy in August, even though the last ultrasound in June mentioned the large one. I've had multiple opinions/diagnosis that I don't know what/who to believe 🥺I want to thank you all for all of your support. You have been so helpful. 💕💕💕

hello

I was exactly the same, I ended up 4hours in surgery, total hysterectomy

It was such a relief after two years of excruciating pain….

Insist on surgery asap

Xxxx

Thank you. I'm glad to hear you are better after the surgery. They are saying it's an 18 month wait but I am going to push and complain xxx

I had adenomyosis of my uterus. I was told it was 2x's its normal size. I was in incredible pain for 2 weeks out of every month, where I couldn't stand and I had 3 small children to take care of. I did everything sitting down. I had my uterus removed in 1988. I also had varicose veins to the uterus. Once they did a partial hysterectomy I felt so much better. Hormones did go wacky (I was 28), I ended up getting my ovaries removed in two separate surgeries as they started having corpus luteal cysts every time I ovulated, 4 & 6 years later. I have read many studies that say if you get a hysterectomy, chances are your ovaries will fail. I forget the exact percentage rate. Pelvic pain is debilitating. It zaps energy and we are generally miserable. For me the hysterectomy was worth it!

Hope this helps! Blessings!

Ask to see the films showing the Fibroids along with the 'operative reports' (the typed reports describing what you are seeing, dictated or typed by the radiologist). That should help you understand what is actually happening inside you - first-hand.
