Female aged 78,have suffered for a year with pain bloating and soreness in lower abdomen,have had all the tests,CT scan, gastrostoscopy ,colonoscopy nothing found,also gluten free diet,but pain still occurring the pain seems to come at random the only thing that helps is Amitriptyline,don't know what to do next any ideas.?

Have they ever done an MRI or a laparoscopy to look for endometriosis? This should be something that should be considered given the location of your pain and symptoms. You can still have endometriosis if you are past menopause age because if it was never removed it will not just go away on its own it needs surgery to remove it. The mri will only show deep infiltrated endo but a laparoscopy is the best way to check for any superficial endo that can also cause some people just as much pain xx
