I suffer from Diverticular disease and just found out this morning that the cashew nuts I ate last night are one of the culprits for making my tummy so very poorly. It was such a coincidence seeing your post this morning.
Yes I'm the same. If I eat a lot of cashew nuts or peanuts I get pain but if I eat only a few at a time I am fine. I never eat them in the evening only late morning or afternoon. I have had a gallbladder removel but still get the problem with eating a lot of nuts which I love. I find gaviscon advance liquid helps. I am 71 wish you better
