hello, I’ve recently had surgery and I’ve since I’ve had green discharge, I haven’t had sex since the surgery and even then I’ve been with my boyfriend for years so I know it isn’t an sti as I’ve done so many tests. But ever since the operation (laproscopy) I’ve had green discharge, there’s no smell or itching. I’ve been on loads of medication since the operation so not sure if it’s that or what but has anyone else this? Or do I need to panic

There should be no discharge coming from your laparoscopic surgery entry sites. It sounds like an infection. I’d get in to see your doctor asap. You don’t want a microbe getting into your bloodstream. Good luck.

Sounds like an infection. You need a course of antibiotics.

it’s from my vagina not the places I had to surgery, I’ve done a home test and it come back normal, and like I said it isn’t an sti as I haven’t had sex. I’m going to go to the doctors tomorrow hopefully and see what they say but I know full well they will just say it’s an sti 🙄xxx

Went to the doctors and have been tested for everything, everything can back normal so they said it was just a flush of all my antibiotics !

yeah everything’s gone back to normal now, and it just means it was all getting out my system ?? I’m not entirely sure it’s just what they said to me, because I was on so many tablets and the coil getting removed they said it was more than likely just all that and my body getting rid of any bad stuff? I’m not entirely sure, but I had all the tests I needed such as sti/std and the common thrush etc.. but they all come back fine thank god!! Xx
