waiting on op

march 2020 i went to my doctors to see what was wrong down below the dr said you need a emergentcy op . as my bladdler kept coming out. so all this time iv been waiting thinking i was on the list for a op as my dr said in march 2020 he would ring and refer me for a op. so i went away thing i would be on the list. on the begining of this month i seen my gynocoligist as shhe changed my pressy ring . i happened to ask her how long have i got to wait for my op im on the list she said no your not . i said last year march 2020 my dr said he was ringing up to refrer me for a op . so i should be she said no its not . so i dont know how long iv got to wait now . i feel let down by my dr . my gynocoligist is brill. so iv had a good cy as i keep having infection after infection due to this pressy ring it doesent suit me .

Hi. If your gynaecologist says your not on a list for operation you need to contact your gp and ask why you have not been referred and your not happy with the pessary ring. Good luck and hope you get sorted soon

Quite frankly I would blow my top if my gp had said this and not done it, get on to him / her now.

So sorry to hear about your non operation. I last saw my gynaecologist march 2019 when I had my Botox injections into pelvic floor. This treatment would be repeated every 3 months. Fast forward present day and I'm still waiting for treatment. Have repeated cancellations with next appointment due may 2022!!It's so difficult when you are suffering chronic pain and your symptoms becoming steadily worse.

I recently had colonography test to check continuing problems with my bowel (colitis) just waiting on results.

I think we are all having to adapt to a Very changed NHS where waiting times for tests and treatments are put on hold.

Hope you keep well and don't have to wait too much longer.
