Failed rectocele/cystocele surgery

Hi had anyone here suffered from failed rectocele/cystocele surgery? I had both repaired in 2018 but feel that I am back to square one, the physio says that I have some nerve damage to the pelvic floor and the exercises aren’t really working. I have a pessary but to it out to clean it and now can’t get it back in.

Has anyone had successful repeat surgery for this? I feel like I’m going mad xx

Sorry to hear your surgery wasnt a success. I dont know whether to have any if it's even suggested to me. I'm saying no to mesh though. I just thought l would tell you theres lots of info on insertion of ring pessaries on line. You fold them warm them under warm water or use recommend gel but only on the tip you're putting in first or too slippery. Hubby puts mine in for me. You can also push it up with finger on edge when it's in to get it in correct position.

Hello I am so sorry to hear that your surgery was not a success..tell me was your dr. A uro-gynecologist? My surgery was a success 4 years ago now however it did leave me with pundeal nerves compression I was in a lot of pain before the surgery and I was on my back for over a year however I was misdiagnosed with the nerve pain this is why it is so important to go to the correct dr. I would highly recommend for you to go to a pelvic pain specialist…I am happy to say the corrective surgery was successful without mesh and I am now able to walk and with the herbs valerian root and hops also yoga and acupressure I am still not able to do all of the things that I could do before the prolapse mine was bladder and vaginial and I prolapsed all at once not over time I hope this is helpful…I have learned how to live with the pain and try to meditate on a daily basis…i so help this is helpful I can only tell you what worked for me I hope it is helpful for you
