Hi all

Iv recently been having issues , it started with thrush or that’s what I thought it was , I brought over the counter stuff and it went a few days later it was back so I thought I obviously haven’t cleared the first lot so brought more but it still didn’t go so I went doctors and was given creams to try they still didn’t work so was put on 2 lots of antibiotics for 2 weeks as the pain was going into my stomach and legs .. the Antibiotics helped that but the itching and burning was still there .. during this time I had a few examination and in one the nurse told me my cervix was very low which she thinks was due to my labour 2 years ago being very long and complicated resulting in failed forceps failed ,suction cap , tearing and an emergency c section .. she told me to do kegel exercises but they seem to irritate the itching more .. this is now 3 months down the line and I’m in a lot of pain and discomfort from the Stinging and itch and the dragging feel from the prolapse I have an appointment with a consultant in 3 weeks but just wondered if any one else had been through the itching and could it be related ?

Thanks

I have the same I'm going to try greek yogurt on it I'm ready to try anything out. I get thrush each time I have antibiotics. I get urine infections because of the prolapse so I go round and round. The uncomfortable feeling in your belly back and thighs try and lay down for a few minutes every hour or crawl around on the floor as this takes the strain off a bit. Hopefully this will help you. I'm trying anything so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. And good luck honey. 😘

Hey

Thanks for your reply , Iv tried the yoghurt it did ease it for the night but not good for long term but deffo helps if u need an insurance relief ... I literally feel like since having the prolapse it’s been non stop irritation ? How long has yours been going on . Yeh I lay down quite often when my husbands home but I have a 2 year old so constantly on the go when his at work .

Hope the yoghurt works for you ... Iv just started taking some antidepressants I had for migraines previously as apparently they can work for the itching . Good Luck to you too lovely 😘

I have had this since December but I can't get to see a specialist due to the covid. I am avoiding any lifting but you cant with a toddler it is a bit depressing but I'm trying to stay positive. Hope you find what works for you 😘

Hello

I highly recommend drinking Kefir .

It is full of the healthy bacteria you need in your gut .

The cheapest I find is made by Milko which I buy from Asda .

As long as you don’t have a dairy allergy give it a go.

I drink 200 mls of it every morning with my breakfast .

I hope this helps .

Take care

Sue .
