Hi I was giagnosed with fibroid years ago as I had heavy periods, had a mirina coil fitted and the periods stopped. Just recently I have been suffering with really bad lower back pain which is not linked to an injury. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to alleviate the pain without drugs? Thank you

Hi there, have you ever been prescribed mefenamic acid tablets. I’ve found them very useful

Hi, your fibroids may well have grown and be causing the back pain, I experienced this and have recently had a UFE after being referred by a gynaecologist.

Hi there I’m just recovering from unexplainedlow back pain I also have fibroids , you could try magnesium spray or gel ! Less harsh than ibuprofen gel , try more walking too that helps me , and hot water bottle it must be fibroid related ! I honestly feel your pain it’s horrible x
