Les pain after sexual intercourse

Dear all,

I'll try to be brief.

After a sexual intercourse where I stressed the perineum with the ejaculation (I kinda pushed the ejaculation) I felt in the coming days a heavy pain in my perineum. This pain disappeared and migrated to the legs, with a constant burning sensation. I took many antibiotics (we thought it could have been prostatitis but it's not the case). I did an exam for the pudendal nerve but it's negative. The pain resolved itself alone after long time (around 1/1.5year).

Last month I had another intercourse and I stopped the eiaculation. This movement made reappeared the same sensation of burning legs (same dynamics - pain in the perineum and then burning legs)

What I do not understand (and the doctors neither) is how the nerves/muscles in the perineum linjed with the ejaculation could cause a pain in the legs.

I suspect it is a neurological problem due to the stressing of some muscles/organs in the perineum which touch or inflammate the nerves which start from the spinal back which go to the legs which cause this sensation.

The burning sensation is basically in the frontal/lateral part of both thighs.

I basically do not have any idea on how to solve that, I hope that maybe someone here has some hints which I could tell to the doctor

Many thanks!

Best

Sounds like definite nerve issues perhaps pudental nerve... you may have to go on a neuromodulator meds like gabapentin or Lyrica cymbalta

by the way what did you do when you had it before for a year-and-a-half did you just suffer the pain or did you take Meds or what?

Thanks for your reply, strange that the pudendal nerve goes in the legs (I've no problems or pain in the perineum).

I think I was taking Laroxyl for some months but not sure it did a lot. The pain eventually resolved itself with time... Even now week after week I feel bit better, I think it will solve itself but could worth a try to take those medicaments you say to speed up the healing process.

Did you see a Physical Medicine doctor and undergo an EMG to test the nerve?
