Double dose

Has anyone been on mini pill and told to double the dose

Hi LISaprag,

I haven’t personally been on given a double dose but I know others who have. Some have been given it as a short term treatment then once the bleeding is under control they take the one pill. Some people then get the bleeding back so they just double up again (but always check with GP or specialist first).

Do you have a diagnosis of endometriosis confirmed by a laparoscopy?

Do my gynaecologist don’t think I have it my symptoms are not of endometriosis she says more pms or just period pains

Ok that is good news as it’s not a nice disease to have. Saying that though your symptoms are severe enough to need treatment. Has she mentioned anything about self management alongside the medication?
