I’m convinced I have chronic cervicitis as I have a burning sensation deep in my vagina. It gets worse on my period and a biopsy revealed I had ‘patchy inflammation’ but the gynaecologist said this can be a ‘normal finding’.
I had cryosurgery on some cervical ectropion to see if this was the cause of my increased discharge and afterwards the burning increased immensely.
The discharge has decreased but the burning sensation is ever present (some days worse that others) and it’s really getting me down.
All swabs negative, ultrasound fine and no problem with my bloods.
I think this was triggered by a really bad bout of yeast infection and ureaplasma (which I treated with a two week course of doxycycline).
And nothing has been the same since!
Please please let me know if you’ve had a similar issue and how you overcame this.
Thank you.

Don't worry, actually Chronic cervicitis can be treated by natural therapies, there're many kinds of natural medicine to cure this disease, and there're massage therapies, herbal treatment such as fuyan therapy and water sitz bath, etc. As for these natural ways of treating female genital inflammation, the advantage has been no side effects and working on restoring the overall balance, and not just eliminating symptoms.
