Mini pill confused

Don’t know if I’m in right group but been on mini pill for 4 months now and the last month I’ve been on and off brown and red blood only when wipe sometimes so small but is this normal for been on mini pill or could be something else

Are you referring to the progesterone only birth control? If so then are taking it at the same time every day? My doctor just switched me to the mini pill and said that's it's very time sensitive as far as taking it at the exact time every day. Also you may need a higher dosage or a different pill altogether. I would call your doc as soon as you can and tell them what's going on.

Yes destrol one I’m on take it roughly same time each day been few days I’ve been few hours late but says up to 12 hrs with this one is ok

It is normal to get spotting. This can go on for 6 months from starting it and a lot of women then have nothing at all. However some women will continue spotting after 6 months. Some women will have a light bleed every month. Hope that helps

I’ve never been on it. Anything with progestogen only can cause this. It should settle but if not go and see your Practice Nurse at your GP surgery
