My original surgeon said I had urethral syndrome and decided to do cystodiathermy which is cauterising my bladder 4 months ago. I have had the hardest recovery I am still in recovery and am on steroids, overactive bladder medication and antibiotics currently however I keep having flare ups, that never seem to completely go, I never had these sensations prior to surgery. I feel the surgery I had has made everything so much worse. I won’t be able to see my new surgeon who put me on these medications for another 3 weeks. Does anyone at all have any knowledge about the outcomes of this surgery and when it will recover because no doctors have been able to tell me. They originally said 6 weeks and then 12 weeks and now that time has passed I was put on these meds that have helped somewhat but I still have frequent unbearable flares from surgery, which include urgency and spasms, everyday tasks are extremely very difficult.
