Buttocks Pain

I have had over 20 spinal injections to stop intense buttocks pain. None have worked. I even had a disk fusion of l5/s1, still no relief. I am having a nerve block at S3, which “may” finally solve his three year problem. I’ll let you know.

Hi Toki1234 sorry to hear that you are in so much pain and nothing has worked. I had an accident last year and broke my sacrum, it damaged the pudental and other nerves. Fourteen months later I am still struggling with nerve pain. I get it in my groin, vagina feels like it has a big bowling ball inside. My butt goes into muscle spasms, I have pain just under my butt on both sides and muscles in the back hurt like he'll. My left front thigh is completely numb and my feet tingle. I was going to have the pudental nerve treatment for treatment

But when I read about the costs and the failed treatments I changed my mind. All i,can tell you to help is pace yourself. Sorry I haven't been much help at all. Merry Christmas lola

Thanks for sharing, your specific symptoms sounds very much like Piriformis Syndrome. I thought for sometime that this may be my problem, but was informed that this syndrome affected the genitalia and fortunately I don’t have that pain. I suggest you learn about this syndrome and suggest to your doctor that he:she evaluate you as there are good treatments available. Merry Christmas to you and I wish you pain relief soon.
