What is Normal post op pain following tvt

Hi i am 72 hours post op after tvt I’m urinating fine and although I feel bruised I seem to be recovering well however i seem to have a sharp stabbing pain in my right groin that when I walk or try to lift my right leg is very painful will this subside is this normal? Thanks

Hi

I would give the ward you were in a phone call or ring the surgeons secretary and see if they can advise. The secretary might speak to the consultant and then ring you back with advice or the consultant might ring you themselves. Failing that I’d ring your GP for advice as they are the people who are responsible for you post op care. I hope this helps and your pain subsides soon
