Was helped by a genuinely caring health care assistant this week. We had never met previously, but she noticed my cushion, footstool, etc. and asked if I had fibromyalgia, was I currently in pain, etc. During her routine exam, she asked where I would prefer to sit, was I OK with her touching me in various places, and explained how and why I would need to lie with my legs extended on exam table for a test. Really cheered me up!
