Who is taking what kind of pain medication and what is helping ?

Hi, I've tried gabapentin which made me feel drunk so only lasted 4 days with it then I went onto pregablin which is a more expensive drug so doctors don't prescribe it straight away.this worked better for a while.i took it for 3 months but did feel drozy and started having nose bleeds so came off it.im now on amitrytaline but I've been told its a low dose.i am managing my pain most of the time but some days it's worse than others.
