I live with the same pain you do. I live a gluten free diet which has helped but my pain is ongoing. IBS being the culprit....I have had numerous surgeries and scans but they cannot diagnose anything other than IBS. I take tablets 1 each evening before bed to eliminate the spasms which does help ALOT. Drinking lots of water and a gluten free diet helps as my digestive system does not have to work as hard to break down all different types of food. Therefor the pain is less prominent.

You are not alone!

If you have had previous surgery it could be adhesions. they don't show up in scans. In that case it may help to go on a low fibre diet x

Do you get the pain every day or a certain times in your cycle?

If it is mid cycle it could be ovulation pain.

I was disabled after a routine myoenmectomy. The only answer I can get is it is nerve damage. Probably Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I have seen at least 25 specialists in two countries. I was going to start a family and now I am bedridden with no real answers. I am in my fourth year of agony.

Hi. Is the pain in the region of your appendix? I had a terrible time last year getting diagnosed with a diseased appendix. I eventually underwent a laparoscopy to investigate the cause of the pain and had a very diseased appendix removed. Scans, scopes and lots of blood tests failed to pick up the problem. I had to push very hard to get the right treatment but it was worth it!

Best wishes

Hi Shelly,I do ask God to end our suffering, I think you can relate too..I do always hope, that there would be some type of way out, I am so tired dealing with pain, it just won't stop hurting me,I hate being disabled and I do get depressed at times, and I'm always in the E.R. my veins have dissappeared, after countless sticks, I get frequent abdominal obstructions.,which causes excruciating pain..Is there anyone out there who knows of any treatment I could try please. Thanks

I don't know of anyone who can help. I stick to light diet, cut down on fibre. If you feel a blockage starting go on fluids only. I take a stool softer every day and I've not had a blockage since 2009. I really wish I could help you more. It's so unfair we have to suffer.

Take care x x
