I have been having ongoing pain in right pelvic area for a week now first it was on the left side ive been dionoised with divercuticulitus it shifts side to side but this is a nagging pain what could it be

I met a lady who had had a pelvic abscess from divurticulosis- if you're also feeling feverish and generally unwell I'd get that checked out.

it pRobably is diverticulitis! It acts in this way. If you have extreme pain,get to an er quickly! My sister came close to death after a burst,so poisonous! I also lost a 30 year old freind to this,she didn't get there fast enought! The diverticuli can be removed and kept in check! Judy r

Hi, I have had diverticulitus for about 6 years,oh boy it can be so painful,the right diet is so important. Today I have had a bladder problem followed up and am in for surgery next month. As long as it stops this awful pain they can do what they like,so good luck to all of you trying to cope with pain, Jacky.
