My blood pressure increased soon after my severe neurologic symptoms started l. I have bad muscle weakness and numbness in arms and eyesight problems. Its challenging for me to walk. Too much pressure I feel during walking or standing and sweat like a rain. My blood pressure was 14.9 over 9.8 today. Before starting my severe symptoms in 2020y blood pressure was 12 over eight and soon after megaloblastic aneamia and four months later than that my blood pressure raised to that amount. I'm suffering alot and trying to find solution. But looks like there is no fast solution except taking B12 . Now I inject everyday and take 15000 mcg methylcobalamine timed release every day. Based on Dutch research group for people with more than five years untreated B12 it takes at least six months symptoms start to get improved and it can get much worse and even more symptoms show up. I didn't have tolerance for injection but by taking B12 pills now I can inject everyday. But soon after my hands numbness improved I'll be able to sleep at night I'm going to lower my dose to every other day. Intake Omega 3 and coenzyme b complex and D3 k2

Is that normal blood pressure be higher than normal in B12 deficiency ?
Hi, My name is Mono. I hope you feel better soon. You’re taking a lot of B12 hope it helps you.
I was diagnosed with PA in 2012. The B12 injections don’t work. I have bad numbness in my hands, feet and legs. I’m in so much pain. Going back to mayo in April hopefully they can figure something out for me.
There might be people at Mayo who know something about B12 deficiency, but if there is,vI have been unable to find them. I would suggest printing an article from Mayo Clinic Proceedings and taking it with you. Toward the bottom of the article is a section on treatment. This section emphasizes that there are two populations of people with B12 deficiency, people with blood symptoms and people with nerve symptoms, and that the two populations require different treatment. The treatment for nerve people starts with two injections per week for two years. You can find the article, "The Many Faces of Cobalamin (B12) Deficiency", here:
