Hi all, not sure which group,to seek information from. I also belong to the arthritis group. Just to say the physio diagnosed arthritis nearly 6 weeks ago when things were not so bad. I have followed her exercises daily. All that’s happened is the pain is worse and the most awful pins and needles. The pain starts in the bottom and travels down the leg. The side not the back. I have pins and needles down to the foot. Not all the time, just when I walk. The pain is almost unbearable and the pins and needles are really sharp. It seems more in the muscle that joints. I seem to have no joint pain. I know it sounds like sciatica, but the physio thought not. Not had any scans or x-Ray yet. Appt with doc next week by telephone. Has anyone had this sort of thing and it not being sciatica or arthritis. Only take paracetamol as suffer constipation because of Solifenacin that I take. They are not much help. Thanks for any thoughts.

Leg Pain
Check out parasthesia?
It is related to sciatica, but is hotter and itchier.
Goes through the same channel as the sciatic nerve.
May be caused by tight belt, or seatbelt incident in car crash.
Loose waist band can help.
There is a YouTube on how to "floss" it. That helped me. But really, there is no cure, apparently.😭
Good luck.
possibly a pinched nerve I’m having this issue with my shoulder and now numb finger tips and occasionally pins and needle feeling… I dread going to have it looked at again only to be told “arthritis” although like you its worse then original diagnosis.
