HERNIATED DISC: HI! I AM MANJU. I HAVE A... - Pain Concern
HERNIATED DISC
Hi sorry I can't help you on that one but if I was you I would see your GP asap. When someone has those symptoms mentioned you shouldn't ignore them. X
I think you should be seen in hospital for Emergency Medical Attention.
Is there someone who can take you to an Emergency Care Centre at the Hospital?
OR
Can you phone your doctor and ask for urgent visit at home.
OR
You could call for an ambulance.
I was given Diazepam as a muscle relaxant by A doctor in Accident & Emergency Department at hospital. I could not move legs at the time. The doctor thought it was sciatica but it was herniated bowel which was full and pressing on spine. So it was soon resolved.
Your situation is more serious and needs medical attention as soon as possible.
Do you know a Physiotherapist? Perhaps they could help with the disc problem. Or doctor could refer you to a physiotherapist.
Hi Manju, I see from your other post that you have already seen a doctor and a physiotherapist and that the physio said to get an x-ray so that they can help you.
So I think you have the answer already. You need to have an x-ray which your doctor should be able to arrange for you.
Hi Manju,
I was diagnosed with a herniated disc a few weeks ago, but did not experience a bulge in my lower back and I had the classic sign of sciatica in my left leg. The best thing was to have an MRI done to understand the exact cause of the pain.
