Hi,Just finished 5TH chemo and count down to 21,now on avastin every 3 weeks should i take ibaprofin while im on avastin .

Wow that Ca125 is great. Check with your oncologist before taking ANY Ibuprofen. I think that the answer may well be NO when on avastin. You should always check with your oncologist before taking any medication prescribed or over the counter medicine because they may all effect the chemo in different ways.

I agree that you should check with your oncologist. Avastin is not ordinary chemo, but think probably risky to take ibuprofen with it, looking at possible side effects of Avastin. Would think you shouldn't take ibuprofen till after Avastin, but see what your oncologist says. Omeprazole should always be taken with ibuprofen longterm to protect the stomach. I am retired GP and keen on ibuprofen, but definitely don't take it without consulting oncologist.
