Yesterday a very dear friend died of uterine cancer. At first I wept. Then I remembered how cross she would have been with me!
She like Lizzie was a true inspiration to all of us with life threatening illness. Marjorie lived her life to the very full right up to a few days before her death. Jubliee weekend she+ her portable oxygen , wheelchaire and wonderful husband came to the village tea party and hog roast at the pub!
She loved life and lived every moment .of this precious gift. That is what her legacy to me is and I share it with you all with love.
Ihad agood night. No sickness and up and dressed today.
Love to you all

Hi Sue
So sorry to hear about your friend, I lost my friend the other week from O.C she was ready ( but I wasn't ).. it is very hard, and so natural to feel upset...as you say life is for living.... I am so glad you had a good night and hope it continues..
Thanks for posting up this very inspiring message. I'm so sorry you'll miss your friend greatly. That's one of the worst things for us - worrying about the people we leave behind - but then there's nothing we can do to prepare or ease the grief. I think your friend did just the right thing. She lived life to the full. If we leave that as a legacy it must surely be a comfort to the those left behind.
I'm really glad to hear you had a good night and no sickness today. I hope you have a share of the lovely sunny weather we have here in Cardiff and that it brings you pleasure despite your loss.
As Gwyn says - thanks for always being there for us!
Losing friends is hard but I'm glad to hear that you are having a "good patch". Me too! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we both get a good bit longer!
